I've always admired Steve Jobs... getting kicked out of his own company for not being corporate enough... then being begged back and defining style, cool, (and even a profit) as the little David company up against the Goliaths of the world.
In celebration of the phone his company is about to deliver, Monty found this piece that is clever enough for a read.

So, what can Steve teach your church?
Hey, came across your site in a google search, I know that this doesn't directly apply to the post, but looking at your blog, I think that you may find this interesting.
It has more to do with the implications of the iPhone, or for any technology for that matter.
I am definitely drooling on the sidelines over this iPhone. But then I read Mike Metzger’s words on this, and it brought me down to earth. He is a fellow from the Clapham Institute.
I posted them here:
“What might the iPhone undo?”

I wish I had written this, it is so tight!
I think his thought are a bucket of cold water. I am not saying that after reading his article, that I wouldn’t buy an iPhone, but that I need to ask thoughtful questions about the technology in my life and it's implications before I just rush to embrace it. Tell me what ya think.
