We've had some interesting emails, calls and contacts on every side of the intelligent design debate this week. Some folks are upset that we're even covering the themes with our new senior high stuff. Some folks are upset because we don't side with them on every little point. Some folks put us in an immediate idiot category and group us - prejudge us - along with folks that even we consider unreasonable. Some don't want any debate at all.
Seems to me, the only two people who are afraid of debate are those who don’t
have enough confidence in their argument, or those who know they are wrong.
“Come let us reason together…” is a good verse.
Much better than, “I’m right and you’re stupid.”
Makes for a slightly better starting point for a cup of coffee and a Danish.
Darn, but I like saying I'm right and your stupid. lol.
Sorry I haven't been contributing much in the comments areas these past few days. Hope you guys are having fun with He Qi's art shows.
Oh, and read a book called "Darwin's Watch" by Terry Pratchett. Not in favour of intelligent design but it is fascinating.
