Lord of peace and rest

We live, we strive, we hate, we fall

We try our best and through it all

Lord of highest praise

Lord of battered, weathered hearts

To you all voices raise

Lord of bread and wine

Lord of endless years

We wander and we wonder

Beneath a veil of tears

And through it all

Through it all

You remain.
